AMBIENTE 2019 ROUND-UP
Ambiente, the world’s leading trade fair for consumer goods in Frankfurt has come to an end after five days, finishing in an excellent mood and with a rise in visitor numbers. 136,000 trade visitors from 166 countries came to Ambiente 2019, ordering the latest products from the entire world for their businesses and obtaining inspiration for their merchandise presentation at the POS as well as new ideas for the digital future.
More and Merrier This Year
Occupying an exhibition space of 306,500 square metres (gross) , 4,451 exhibitors from 92 countries  revealed the trends of this coming business year. 85 per cent  of all exhibitors came from outside Germany, making Ambiente 2019 the most international one of all times. Ambiente in Frankfurt was visited by around 136,000 buyers from 166 countries , resulting in an increase in visitors and a very upbeat atmosphere in the halls. Significantly more exhibitors reached their targets for the trade fair this year, making more contacts than the year before.
Bollywood Inspirations All Around
Ambiente 2019 was very much dominated by the masterly craftsmanship and traditions of the subcontinent, by Bollywood and by an amazing variety of delicious food. Over the last few years eight partner countries have successfully showcased themselves at Ambiente. Now it’s time for something new and the partner country globe is returning home. But in 2020, we can also look forward to the exciting subject of “The world comes to Ambiente”, as the world’s leading trade fair will be presenting a programme in a new look and exceptional design.
Trends for the Senses
The Ambiente Trends for 2019: tasteful residence – quiet surroundings– joyfilled ambience. What are the characteristic features of each style? Which themes and emotions do they reflect? What are their stories?
