This banquet hall encompasses an expanse of luxurious lighting, equipped with the latest in stage effects technology.
Modern led lighting strips line the walls and set crevices aglow alongside a bold arrangement of classically inspired chandeliers. These extravagant fixtures border a circular ceiling feature mimicking the domes of antiquity and depicting images of a starry night sky to evoke the atmosphere of an opera house.
The luxurious lighting fixtures appoint the alcove of walkways at the front of the hall, hanging from circular recesses painted with impressions of an electrifying night sky to create a comforting space bathed in warm yellow light, while leading guests to the impressive array of chandeliers and modern lighting fixtures in the grand hall. Stepping out from the entryway alcove, the eye follows the wide expanse of carpeting, along the horizontal lines of the walls, and on to the extravagant ceiling.
Adorned with wavy lines and circular forms in vibrant colours, the wall-to-wall carpeting subtly contrasts against the straight lines of the architectural finishes and led lighting strips. The programmable lines of colour are evenly distributed over the walls, separating the curves of the floor from the circular formations in the plaster ceiling above.
The wooden dais at the rear of the hall is flanked on both sides by two led screens hung at an angle – a requisite feature for a hall of this size, providing the guests seated further from the stage with a view of the proceedings. This stage producer’s dream is equipped for dramatic presentations with archetypal red velvet curtains, a trio of stage lifts, and a cinematic-scale led screen serving as the backdrop. Camouflaged among the lines of lighting and decorative panels on the wall, a control booth is carved out of the space above the entrance alcove to provide a platform for a position from where the abundant lighting fixtures and effects equipment are managed.
