Artistic Acrylic
Designer Jean Christophe Bernard at Acrila are known to produce attractive and unusual modern lines of decorative acrylic furnishing. These Feather table and chair are some of the fine example of their innovative uses of acrylic. The embedding images created a deceiving finishes, resemble an upholstered but in fact it is just an illusion. By playing with the image, the transparency and the light subtly, the designer created an artistic piece of furniture.

These polyethylene renderings of the curvaceous silhouettes of male and female are seductive or some may say outrageous. Not surprising, since it is designed by flamboyant Italian designer, Fabio Novembre. He modelled them after the classic Panton Chair, referring his interpretation as “an evolution of the hermaphroditic original.” Whatever your takes on it, you have to admit it’s an intriguing piece of furniture and an acknowledgement of the beautiful human form. Available in white, black and red.
