The Coat Check Chair
All it takes is plastic hangers and a steel tubular frame to create a seat, and an obvious reminder.

As Obvious Reminder To Keep Your Coats Tidy
Having friends over for a party or maybe a husband that tends to get a little lazy when he gets home from work usually prompts coats messily thrown over chairs or sofas. To create a little fun out of coat hanging and to quite obviously remind the men to do so is the aptly named The Coat Check Chair by Joey Zeledón. His design cleverly uses vibrant hangers stacked on a metal frame to provide unique seating, while also promoting coat storage!
Boston-based, Zeledón had conceptualized and prototyped the simple yet appealing chair, that its easy to see why the chair was selected for a Design Distinction Award in 2011’s I.D. Magazine.
A creative innovation that emerges aesthetic with function, we can already foresee The Coat Check Chair selling faster than hot potatoes when it does go into manufacturing!
