A Match Between Artistry And Functionality
11 January 2012,
“A designer should always strive to achieve a combination of artistic quality, commercial value and functionality.” – Zhou Wen Sheng

Besides being a designer, Zhou is also taken with real estate. He advocates that all designs are meant to ease the problem of sales because the worth of a design will eventually be reflected as ‘additional value’ to the end product.
The structure of Sparkling Life Club is a non-symmetric cross, running vertical from the main door (north) to the rear where a stage is present with a surround of fountains. Extending from the center court west of the exhibition hall are lounges, special VIP rooms and a study hall; on the east side, meeting rooms and financial offices can be found. The grand center axis webs through the hall until the far end of each wing.
The building is only one part of the exhibition hall’s majesty. Designer Zhou Wen Sheng restructured and intricately laid out the interior, landscape, architecture and different elements to form a place that brings form unity in variation. The spatial design puts emphasis on the functionality and ease of the entire space, paying particular attention to the center hall of the property.
Zhou particularly accented the central are by using a horizontal and vertical division to unite the space, making it more luxurious and layered. The Sparkling Life Club highlights its services and ability to meet the dual-requirements from consumers in terms of style and functionality.
