Taiwan:Southern Europe Meets Modern Simplicity
Likened to a ship with two captains, this home in taiwan is elegantly furnished with southern european home decor to appease the queen while modern simplicity for the head of the home.
Upon entrance, one would be greeted with the warm tones of earth brown furnishing with a blend of yellow and leaf green. Decorated according to southern European style, the kitchen is placed on its own, away from the dining room which is linked to the living area. Here, an interesting combination of chair with back rest and a long bench is placed to the dining table for an added drama. Twin-door cabinets are also fitted along the aisle of this space for easy storage of cutleries and chinas.
The living room makes an interesting appeal to tired souls with the placement of a twin seater, an ultra modern bright orange single seater and a maneuverable table.
Created with the same theme, is the children’s room where open and closed wall cabinets are applied for large storage of clothes, toys and books. A feel of light-heartedness, fun and frivolous spirit are given due attention with the application of dual colors; cherry pink and white with added blossom motives to the left and right of the wall. Such detailing is completed further with matching bedding, side coffee table and wall lamps.
Centralising on spacious living as the core concept, the study and piano room situated on the second floor is the father’s haven.
Ample space with built-in cabinets is created for large storage of books and referral materials while the piano room is accompanied with audio visual units. Seated upon white marble tiling finish, the second-floor spells total tranquility and peace of mind.
