Getting To Know The Stars
05 November 2011,
The flying stars Feng Shui is a subset of Xuan Kong Feng Shui, which is itself a subset of the San Yuan system. Flying stars refer to bodies of Qi (energy) that have their own unique qualities. These can affect the well-beings and functions of dwellers within a particular community, house, or specific area within a room.

Most practitioners are familiar with the basics of Flying Stars and what applications it involves to tap into the current (or future) prosperous Stars. For example: Star 1 can be regarded as a benevolent star no matter the time period; Star 4 is considered “untimely” by some practitioners in Period 8, but can make someone appear more attractive.
All the Flying Stars have a crucial role with specific qualities and purpose. If the Star fall into a certain number, it promotes something different entirely. (Star 3 causes one to be highly strung and useful in stimulating change. Tap on the Qi of Star 7 if one desires a “sweeter mouth” to better one’s ability to talk.)
Similarly, several Stars are relegated as “bad” stars, especially when application of the Flying Stars knowledge is overly simplified in an effort to make it more palatable. Star 3 is often called the ‘Argument Star’, which can wreak havoc between interpersonal, spousal, or other relationships; whereas, poor Star 2 is typically (and unjustly) labeled as the ‘Sickness Star’. Of course, the grandfather of all “bad” Stars is the much-feared 5 Yellow Star. But again, there are no entirely “good” or “bad” Stars perse as there are multiple ways to tap into the positive effects of every Star. At the same time, thorough understanding of the Flying Stars allow its negative effects to be manageable.
