In Complementary Contrast

Two contrasting features can work well together if one knows how to pair them.

Most of the embellishments of this home take the form of wall features. The neutral palettes provide a blank canvas for the designers to exercise their creativities with glossy panel and wallpapers. In the living room, depending which direction you turn, there are two focal points: One, the glossy wall panel in white and light blue behind the television, two facing the structure is a rich designed of wallpaper behind the sofa. Yet, the pairing of these two features does not overwhelm the space.

This is due to the light colour of the wall panel and the limited display of the wallpapers. At the dining hall, two of these features are paired side by side. Again, it does not overwhelm as the designers only use it to set the focal point, dressing up only one part of the wall.
