From the outside, this 3-storey link house oozes a calming effect as it stands majestically against a clear blue skyline. The architecture of this building showcases the different levels of the home effectively. Tall glass windows allow the sunlight to stream into a space that has been developed into a classy modern home in Balik Pulau, Penang. What’s important here is that the homeowners, along with interior designer Euigene Mah and his creative team, have reached a complete mutual understanding of how the interior style sweeps through the entire house seamlessly – paying fine attention to details and harmonious pairings of colours and furniture fittings.

White is the predominant colour found here, creating an airy spacious feel that is further enunciated by the neat rows of track lightings. But white, when accompanied by occasional splashes of other tones, add variety and just the right amount of allurement. Both wall and gleaming floor tiles greet you as soon as you walk in, soothing your feet as they lead you up the stairs. Each bedroom has a distinct label on it, the difference is created by the accompanying colour. But the master bedroom stands out just a little bit more because of a spacious walk-in-wardrobe that is adjacent in the room. The style chosen for this home permeates every space, furniture and accessory – creating a truly serene atmosphere.
