Designed by Nu Infinity, the UEM Arcoris Community & Key Collection Centre accommodates a selection of resident classes which includes a dance floor for yoga and dance lessons as well as an open kitchen for cooking classes. These areas are placed in the middle of the centre which spans across over 5,000 sqft of space. A kids’ playground is also placed adjacent to it, allowing parents to monitor their children while they play.
Beyond these spaces, the management office is tucked elegantly behind a feature wall. This office also doubles up as the reception area. Above this space, the yellow-toned ceiling creates an energetic, fun and joyful ambience.
“A perfect blend of tiled floors for durability and timber flooring for the dance floor and the kids’ play area creates a subtle division to highlight the differences of spaces within the open floor,” explains the Nu Infinity team. “These features also play a role in breaking the monotonous anatomy of standard floorings.”
As you enter the Key Collection Centre, a black marble island and random cubic pendant lamps stand out proudly to give a majestic impact to the space, while functioning as a discussion table and pantry. The wall layerings on both sides are designed to create a tunnelling effect that extends to the private lounge at the far back. As the space does not have window openings, this interior feature also helps to light up the space.
“Feature walls over at the front are made of Vasari wall plastering, ground lime stone, along with gold trimmings and hairline stainless steel finishing,” the team says. “Persian Nero Black Marquina Marble is also applied on the pantry island to create a sculptured statement upon entering the space.”
