The recreational spaces at IOI Conezion are made more inviting with the strategic use of colours, creative features and wholesome ideas.
There’s a distinctive sense of warmth and fun at IOI Conezion’s facilities and common areas. Designed by Latitude Design, these spaces carry a modern contemporary ambience that’s punctuated with interesting details and cheerful colours to encourage interactive fun and engagement.
At the entrance foyer, a nature-inspired look is formulated with the use of faux grass and green planters that wrap around the huge columns. Benches and globe-like features enhance the contemporary garden appeal while low lighting complements the daylight streaming in from the front entrance. From here, the space takes visitors to the main common area comprising the games room, children’s play area, recreational hall as well as an indoor cinema.
A functional yet eye-catching area, the recreational hall is bright and spacious with its soothing palette. Special effects paint in shades of grey is used on the wall, offering a wonderful backdrop for a variety of seating furniture. On one side, eight-seater dining sets anchor the space while towards another corner, more casual seating in the form of colourful chairs and round tables are available. Next to it, there is also a lounge area with bright red and yellow armchairs. To offset the grey textured walls, white and purple tones on the opposite walls infuse a vibrant effect. To make the space more efficient – especially when residents wish to hold parties or special functions, the hall also incorporates a fully-equipped kitchen dressed in light wood and white countertops.
One of the most inviting spaces in IOI Conezion’s common area is the games room which is done up to reflect a relaxing ambience. Bright and airy, the room features a selection of games tables that includes a foosball table, ping pong table, a billiard table and plenty of sofas for users to lounge around. Right next to the games room is the indoor cinema which can accommodate more than 15 pax at one time. Bright red theatre seats and acoustic panels are employed to create a conducive setting for a lively movie experience.
For parents who require child-friendly spaces for their kids, a very charming children’s play area is set within the facilities deck. Against a clean and white backdrop, child-sized furniture and graphic cut-outs enhance the atmosphere. Pastel tones are used here for a serene feeling. The designers also included an artistically designed corner featuring origami-like illustrations on the wall for an imaginative effect.
